Client needs
The efficiency of an IT infrastructure could be hugely increased by allowing devices of different manufacturers to communicate with one another, independent of operating systems.
As software developer or system vendor you are therefore developing individual JScribe applications for customers, using JScribe Software Development Kit (JSDK) for this purpose.
The solution
The JScribe Software Development Kit (JSDK) is a highly efficient development environment based on the JScribe technology and enables the definition and control of business-output processes without altering or replacing existing IT infrastructure.
JSDK allows quick and easy application programming based on open standards such as XML or JavaScript. This allows for quick ROIs and minimizes the risk of inefficient developments at a cost savings of up to 80% compared to the adaptation of standard applications such as ERP systems.
By JSDK, almost all functions which were required by customers are covered. These functions may include the following:
The JScribe Software Development Kit (JSDK) is an integrated developing environment (IDE) which allows quick and easy JScribe application programming. The JSDK integrates all elements of the JScribe project development life cycle, which are scripts coding, testing, debugging and deployment.
The JSDK scripts coding functionality provides a row of features to speed up JScribe programming and simplifies navigating through the source code.
The JScribe runtime simulation functionality facilitates testing and debugging of JScribe solutions.
The deployment wizard simplifies the process of uploading JScribe applications to the target devices.
Client benefits
Compared to the efforts necessary to customize standard applications such as ERP systems this will help save up to 80 % of the development cost.
June 18, 2009: JSDK 4.3 available
A new version of JSDK has been developed for supporting a robust deployment process.
The following enhancements were made since the release of JSDK 4.0:
One major improvement of the new Deployment Wizard is the "Project Approved" property. The approval procedure allows verifying the stability of JScribe® applications, to avoid that a system hangs because of unstable applications. Now projects are deployed being not approved unless the project property “Approved” is set to “True”.
